Because I do not see new roads anywhere :(
If the mod is correctly installed and enabled, the loading screens should show ProMods logo and content. Another way is to see a drastic drop in the percentage of map exploration. ;)

Tutorial here. And the same in Dutch.
I fixed it !!!
I downloaded all the files through my macbook pro and used Unarchiver to extract all the files. NOW I DO GET 6 FILES !! ALL THE FILES EVERYONE NEEDS.
I got my usb drive and installed the files to my windows pc, loaded the game, activated all the missing files and now Promods works !! :D :D :D

So I guess something is wrong with the way it has been packed. Just something I now noticed from experience ;)

Installation issue

Hi.
I was trying to install ProMods 2.0 (I think that's what it is. It's the latest verison at least). But they was downloaded as weird useless files. I found a tutorial on how to install them, but that did not help AT ALL. Neither did the video, because the person that made it did not think of showing what to do with those useless files that are not .scs files. I do not know what to do, because you decided to make it a hell of a lot harder to install than it should be. What happened to just having normal .scs files instead of what they are now?! This issue pisses me off because it's pretty much impossible to install the damn thing due to your "creative" thinking.

In that case, either your 7zip isn't up-to-date or your download has gone haywire.

Update 7zip and/or redownload the mod.

Perhaps your browser somehow changes the names of the files it downloads? -like to promods-v200(1).7z.001 or promods-v200.7z.001.zip?

I downloaded a new version from the link Scul posted. Still did not work.
