We were able to copy two (2) vanilla routes into ProMods without changes. Now we're working on the 3rd one and it needs changes and currently the mission fails every time, so it requires more work.
Ok: I thought that Promods changes related to vanilla map were just placed in overlapping areas between the two maps, but it seems it's not... thank you for explanations and keep up the good work!

1.30.1.14 is probably the version you need to be able to use the new DLC. So if you disable map mods, just let the game update to the latest version. But SCS released 1.30.1.19 today so all terrain issues should be gone ;)

Hi ScuL
Thanks for the reply. That sounds like you're making quite good progress then considering the amount of work it must take. Colour me impressed. I've read somewhere that full compatibility may not be possible as Promods changes the parts of the map where these jobs take place. You guys have any plans to correct that or is that just not possible?

Sorry, do I understand you correctly?

The SCS .19 update from today will fix the terrain glitch? I thought it was a conflict with Promods? SCS fixed that for you? Or am I getting my information wrong here?

So I can update and run my "Non Promods" profile to be able to try out the new DLC without breaking my "Promods" profile with the update?

Hi,

with the 1.30.1.19 the terrain issues should be gone (fixed by SCS), as Voytek said.
This terrain issues was happing to all map mods, not just ProMods.

Yes, you can update the game to 1.30.1.19 and play with ProMods.

Best regards,

ETS2 1.30.1.19 does now work with ProMods 2.25 and causes minimal terrain bugs. The Special Transport DLC does not work with ProMods 2.25; you will have to wait for 2.26 to use Special Transport.

Fantastic
Thank you for the confirmation. I'm on my way home now so I'll be straight on that update. I'm guessing it's already available on Steam.

I don't mind too much about the DLC and Promods conflict for now. I run another profile for mod testing so I'll just use that until Promods can accomodate it. At least I can try the DLC even if I can't incorporate it into my career profile for now. Thanks again guys

You can also buy the DLC and play ProMods as usual. DLC will just not work. I’m using 2 profiles: vanilla and ProMods and if I want to haul special cargoes I simply change them. DLC is not crashing or causing issues with ProMods.

That's exactly what I plan to do.

Would I be correct in saying that the DLC only reacts badly with map mods? I'm running graphics mods and the lovely stuff Jazzycat makes as well. Or do I need to be COMPLETELY vanilla for the DLC for now?

I think you can play DLC with graphic mods, because it’s based mainly on roads. In DLC we have special programmed AI route with some events on the way to the destination (police blocking road, journalists taking photos, etc), so that vanilla map for special cargoes is required. Also I think that some mods which are adding countries but not rebuilding existing SCS map will not affect DLC routes.
