It's been over 2 months guys , are we ever going to have promods updated so we can run with the Special DLC ?
Yeah , i know this works without it , but i bought the DLC to use it and i don't play ETS2 without Promods.
I love your work and i wouldn't ask otherwise , but December 4 2017 was the last update. how hard can it be to port the DLC to a current version ?

Testing the routes takes a lot of time as they are very complicated to deal with and need extensive testing as AI can behave in different ways each time. Be patient it will be ready soon.

As you can see, it's even harder than connecting our map with map DLCs

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

The problem with the ST DLC is that the routes are HARD CODED into the map sectors by SCS.CSI48 wrote: ↑09 Feb 2018 17:43It's been over 2 months guys , are we ever going to have promods updated so we can run with the Special DLC ?

This is not a problem for any area that uses vanilla (unmodified) map sectors.
ProMods has made changes, improvements and replacements all over the map, in almost all map sectors.
Therefore there are only 4 (!!) routes that could be copied without destroying or degrading ProMods:
- Reims - Strasbourg (France DLC area)
- Nantes - Civaux (France DLC area)
- Carlisle - Sheffield (largely unedited UK vanilla area)
- Stavanger - Oslo/Drammen (Scandinavia DLC area)
There is one route that we have copied into a heavily modified area and that is:
- Linköping - Kalmar
And this is the first 'ProMods ST route' as such, it is causing lots of problems that the testers are now finding.
Behaviour displayed includes:
* police cars being rammed by AI vehicles
* obstructions in the path of the player
* pilot vehicles misbehaving
* errors telling you that you have failed the route even though you have not done anything wrong
Because of the nature of the ST route, every time a problem occurs the tester must report it, a developer must fix it, then update then route, then provide an update to the tester for them to test again.
Then the route must be driven again from the start.
This process is extremely time-intensive.. and that is just for ONE route.
Now imagine if we were to add more routes..
