Yes, that is possible. But you will need to downgrade your ETS2 version to 1.26. And download ProMods version 2.12. Which isn't recommended, and you will miss out on all the awesomeness newer version of both the game and the mod bring to the game.
Therefor I recommend you to but DLC Vive la France too. Then you can play the latest and greatest version of ProMods, which is 2.25 on ETS2 1.30.
In the future you will also need DLC Italia, so it's best to get that too. ProMods 2.25 is compatible with DLC Italia.
