Saved game from previous version of ETS2

Is there any way to use or salvage a profile from an older version (v 1.19)
and use it in the latest version (v 1.30); particularly in terms of experience
and garages, money, drivers etc.

Downgrade to 1.19, play the game, save, quit the game, upgrade it to the next version, save, quit the game, upgrade it to the next version.. etc until you reach 1.30

why upgrade every version.. you tried load that profile w/current ets version?

To play it safe, it is wise to make a backup of the profile before you try start loading it.

If you don't know which profile folder is the one you want to load, downgrade to 1.19, start ets2 and load the profile, once loaded, quit ets2. The most recent folder in your ets2/profiles folder is the one you want to upgrade.
After the backup you can restore the 1.30 version and try loading the profile (first without any mods). If that doesn't help you probably need to upgrade you profile version by version like Scul suggested..

So, I was unable to play with my old saved game; I was unable to load Promods, RusMap,Paris rebuild, Promods Trailer and Company Pack, etc as listed in the " [Q&A] Load order of recommended compatible maps (1.30) " entry on the forum.

I was able to load the old (v 1.19 ETS2) saved game in ETS2 v 1.30 with just ProMods 2.25 and Paris rebuild (I will try to add the RusMap).
What results is that I have 70 garages but only 49 appear in the list with city locations, 21 do not have a city location and of those only 7 have drivers and trucks but are earnin money. I suspect that this is because the cities are in countries of Poland and Russia and I do not have the maps of RusMap and Poland rebuilding any more. I could sell the trucks and garages whose locations are not listed and dismiss the drivers and hope that when I "re discover those locations that will fix things but I am not sure; when I try to quick travel to those locations the game fails.If I get the RusMap and Poland Rebuilding mods active That may solve the problem as well.

I run the game stand alone and not on Steam.

I was finally successful in loading my old (v 1.19 ETS2) saved game in ETS2 v 1.30 with ProMods 2.25 and Paris rebuild and RusMap version 1.75. Unable to use RusMap v1.8; continued to get the standard take your pick of 1 of 4 error conditions; corrupt save, missing mod, bad mod etc.
By switching back to previous version of RusMap it was fixed. As well all my garages now have their city locations restored. Not sure what is wrong for my setup (ets2 v1.30.1.16); I downloaded RusMap v1.8 more than once in case of corruption but could not use it successfully.

But all seems well with RusMap v 1.75

Update your game to the latest version - 1.30.2.2. RusMap 1.8 works on 1.30.1.19 and above.
Also, I think there was no 1.30.1.16
