This map is an extraordinary job, but it has a major problem. Although I have a good graphics card, the FPS falls are constant, and in this game a drop in FPS, even if it is small, it shows a lot. This is the case of Spain, where the map is overloaded. Would it be possible to make it lighter? I don't think so many crosses or lanes are necessary. In my opinion, the fundamental thing is that the landscape and the buildings are realistic, or that the posters are in Spanish and not in English.
I prefer to remove some elements of the map before driving in slow motion

I wonder what does it mean ;)
Maybe you have too high settings for your hardware. Maybe too many mods. It's hard to guess if you don't tell us any detailed info.

Anyway, new areas in Spain that'll come in 2.3, are optimized much better than Barcelona.

I have a GTX 1070 (8 gigas). The only mod I have, in addition to the Promods, is the rus map. With the Rus map I only have some problems in Vodvograd and in St. Petersburg. The problem is not only in Spain, but also in many other areas, especially cities. But in Spain it's where the FPS fall. Not only in Barcelona, but also in Bilbao, Irun or Donostia. In my opinion, it's too loaded. If it could be lightened, I think driving would be much better.

Turn on vsync. For me ETS2 is unplayable without it!

vsync will only allow FPS up to the refresh Rate of your Monitor, not higher, thios wont inpact on performance. The Problem with ETS2 is the Old DX9 engine, which will be updatet slowly in next versions.

I think map quality is the best. No analog maps, if you want less details you can play TSM map, they also have Spain.
For me there are no critical fps issues. Maybe you have not much RAM or you are playing with weak processor?

Follow the main steps for fixing performance.

On an nVidia GPU the first thing you should do is lower Scaling. It's a poorly named option since it does nothing with what most people consider 'scaling'. It actually sets the internal resolution as a multiplier of the Base resolution.
Last I heard, the defaults set by GeForce Experience are insane, in the realm of 400-800%. At 1080p with 400% scaling, you're running the game at over 4K! Lower it to somewhere around 200%. I use 150%.

Second is to lower shadow quality. This can drastically reduce the number of expensive DrawCall operations.

Also, disable V-Sync. It introduces a ton of artificial input lag.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!

My processor is a Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-6700-K CPU, 16 Gb Ram. I haven't touched the settings, so they're the ones with the default game. I once tried to change them, but I lost a lot of image quality. I'm not saying I don't like the map. It is certainly much more realistic than TSM. TSM is an unreal map (how do you think for example to put tropical vegetation in northern Spain?). In addition, the last areas that added to the map of TSM (Gijón in Spain) have the same problem with the FPS. All I'm saying is that it has an excess of elements: lanes, crosses, roundabouts.. .Maybe if those elements change the game go better.

Oh I know that! I thought he had issues with constant FPS drops from 120 to 70 for example which causes a big screen tear!
