If you know this forum for at least a couple of years you can estimate the release date of the next promods by yourselves.

- At the beginning of a major update development there are a lot of updates in the different threads, and a lot of screens showed.
- Than at some point, developpers start to say "it will/won't make it to the next version", that means the development is close to hit the end.
- After that there is a very calm period on the forum, like now, that means the focus is on bugfixing
- And finally a closed beta version is released for teasing (Youtube/Twitch...), even at this point, nobody can say how long it will take to fix the remaining bugs. Last year this step was reached around mid-june if i remember correctly, and the 2.20 was released in September.

it's quite the same this year so i bet on a release around August, but it could be on July like on October. That's why it's hard to estimate because even the developpers can't know in advance which problems they will have to resolve.

In this topic they are asking for the release of 2.27, not for 2.30

I think, when a new version of ETS come, you should put an announcement on top of this section of the forum (and maybe also on the "Development updates and Q&A " section of the forum) at the same place this one is now:

So everybody knows that the version of promods compatible for 1.3x will be ready, when it's ready...

This wont help since many People don't read this. So there wont be less threads and questions about when the next Version Comes.

So us that are thick.... now Steam has updated ETS2 to to 1.31, do I assume I cannot use Promods yet ?

We do not give any ETA ever.

Why not, you may ask?
Because we get lots of mad users when we don't make the ETA.
Not making it to the ETA, can be cause by lots of things. Like unforeseen bugs, hard to fix bugs, a meteorite smashing into Earth.

The closest thing we can give to an ETA is:

I'll be released after the previous version.






So basically no, no, no, no, no, we ain't going to give an ETA. And keep answering these questions in the same way as always:

I just don't understand what some of you cannot be patient for it. Usually, whenever ETS2 get updated to newest version while Promods only work for previous version, I just simply roll back the update on Steam. And just keep playing it until Promods release a new version for the game. You guys need to be patient like me. So, just sit back and relax. Or in my case, get in your truck and drive around!

Right now all you guys should be doing the World of Trucks event, which doesn't work with Promods anyway, so if you're on 1.31 there's something fun to still do while you wait. Cheers!
