I just discovered that when its raining, the AI happens to slow down to 50-60kph on country roads, atleast on the E14 between Östersund and Sundsvall.
Is this intended or a bug? Because in my opinion it isn't very realistic that normal cars slow down so drastically just because its raining. I also havent got any ai traffic mods active that change the speedlimit so it shouldn't be some kind of mod conflict.
Here since 1.0 and not planning to change that anytime soon :)

SCS added this "feature" a few versions ago, the A.I. traffic will drive a little slower in the rain than in the sunshine. This is map-wide and occurs in the base game even without ProMods.

I see. It feels like everytime SCS tries to make the AI better, it just keeps getting worse smh :o

A "little"... doing 50 on a 3 lane motorway even in light rain. I hate this new feature by scs. I mean yeah maybe there are some more inexperienced drivers who do it in real life to but i went thru Denmark from Hirsthals to Padborg and 9 out of 10 trucks did 50-60 kmh. Trucks. You know with I assume truck drivers, not inexperienced sunday-drivers.. Im not saying they should hammer it with 90 but at least keep a steady 70-75

with 1.30 it´s more worse than before.
but it is possible to fix it with a traffic mod.

It's so weird.

In Poland nobody slows down when it rains. People even go faster. lol

I still remember this situation. When i made a driving license and i bought my first car, I was going back to home. And it started raining. It was very heavy rain. I could barely see the road, but I didn't slow down too much. I was going 85-90km/h on one lane road. And.... a big truck with long trailer has overtaken me on this road. It took him very long to overtake me, but thanks god nobody was coming from front.

This is how people drive in Poland.
