Hello! :D

So, i was wondering if my Acer Aspire 5 with a GeForce 940MX, Core i5-8250U Quad Core, 6GB RAM, and 128GB SSD could run promods without problems. It handles the base SCS map pretty good on high/ultra settings with 200% scaling (sometimes 150%) while mirrors are on the lowest settings, and with Depth Of Field turned off.

So do you guys think it'll do fine?

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Probably on Medium or low. Laptops are never good for gaming. But you can still try it. I suggest you to create a medium or low Vegetation Setting when creating your definition file.

I don't have all the map expansions yet, so i was just wondering. I know Promods is very demanding compared to the base map, but i'm not fishing for 60 fps or stuff like that. As long as it'll run pretty smooth. I was suprised when you said Medium/low settings.

Which map expansions don't you have?
You need all map dlc's except Italia but this will be a requirement at the next vesion(s) and the same will be with Baltic dlc and future map dlc's.

Ah, lol. You think i can run it? :/ I mean, i can run the regular SCS on high/ultra just fine, so if i'll have to reduce it to low settings with promods, it'll be very unfortunate :(

If you keep playing games in ultra graphs, your laptop's life will reduce a lot (own experience).

As said above, if you don't have Going East!, Scandinavia and France you won't be able to launch ProMods. In 2.30 Italia will also be a requirement.

An x40 card and 6GB RAM is not a particularly great setup for gaming. From my experience you need at least an x50 card and 8GB RAM to play smoothly on high settings.
