Feel stupid for asking this, but I see no answer

Can you play the DLC without ProMods, on a ProMods save, and when ProMods with the DLC compat is out, just add it back on again in Mod Manager?

yes you can, but make sure that you not have any modded Trucks or Trailer in any garages which you will miss after you went back to SCS default map.

Yes, it is safest to sell all garages in the affected cities.
