Promods doesn't work.

Okay, I have generated a def-file and I have downloaded all the three rar-files and extracted them in the modfolder. However I only have promods-map-vXXX.scs and promods-vXXX.scs but not promods-def-vXXX.scs? I go to my profile and click "edit" but there are no active mods for me to enable? Is it because I have no promods-def-vXXX.scs file in the modfolder? Where do I get it then?

You need to generate the def file and put it in your mods folder, the def isn't located in the 3 .rar files.

I did it. I generated the def-file and it was packed in winrar. I then extracted def to the mod folder in ETS2.

You don't need to extract the def file, when you've downloaded the file just put it in your mods folder.

Okay I did the way you said. Now I am downloading promods-v1.62.part1.rar

Am I supposed to move it to the mod folder aswell? Just like with the part 2 and 3?

When you have downloaded the 3 rar files, you need to extract those into you mod folder, only the def file you have generated doesn't need to be extracted. If you still have problems, please read this again: http://www.promods.net/setup.php

Can I extract part 1, 2, 3 when I have finnished downloading it respectively, Or should I first download all three parts and THEN extract the files? I guess it doesn't matter

My mod folder contains "def" "promods-map-v162.scs" and "promods-v162.scs". However, when I download the third part it contains "promods-v162.scs" also? Part 2 and part 3 have the same file? Why?

Because it's a multiple archive, when you've downloaded all parts you need to extract part 1 and it will automatically extract part2 and part3. When you've done that you'll need to place the "promods-map-v162.scs" and "promods-v162.scs" files in you mod folder.

Ok thanks. I have downloaded all three. I extracted the part 1 and then it asked that "you need another volume ´part 3´ to continue extraction." So I browsed part 3 and clicked Ok. Hope it works now.
