What I see with download.

Hello all,

Glad things are up an running with 1.7. I am having an issue, have not seen anyone else with this issue.
I have donated before, was hoping that would toss me into a different group, guess not so I was trying free one for now.

So we have a def. file and 3 parts

Def. file is 488k in the mods folder. I set it on double damage.

Part 1:
Promods-map-v170.scs and is 66,208kb big
Promods-v170.scs and is 431,505kb big
readme

Part 2:
Promods-map-v170.scs 66,208kb big
Promods-v170.scs 0kb big
readme

Part 3:
Promods-map-v170.scs 0kb big

I see ProMod on loading screen when I start the game so all good. However when I go into the game, to be sure it is working I look for a port at Rostock, which I do not see.

Now, if I place Part 1 into the mod folder all is good. However if I place Part 2 into the folder Promods-v170.scs 0kb now replaces part 1 with 0kb, thus nothing is there. Then place Part 3 in and it makes promods-map-v170.scs 0kb. So now I have the Def at 488kb and map at 0 and last at 0kb.

I guess I am doing this wrong.

If you extract part1 the rest will follow automatically

I really don't see how this could be so hard.
In the days of multi floppy disk game sets multi-part archives were the norm and anyone would know how to extract them.

So I paid the Dollar and got one file plus the Def file. Now the game crashes on load. Oh well, figure it out later.

Extract the RAR file and you will get 2 SCS files. Put this together with the Def file in the mod folder.

I know this, you will have 3 files a def, a map and one that says v170.scs. I shut off all other mods, only promods running. And the pictures in the load screen are awesome too.

So, I tried something different. I enable only Def file, and game loads. Enable v170.scs and def, game loads. Enable the map-v170.scs lock down. Load only map-v170.scs and still lock down.

If you have all 3 files and no other mods the only conclusions possible are that you are running an incompatible version of ETS2 or the files are broken.

Please post the game.log right after the crash

Hello

i have downloaded the three files plus i have genertated and downloaded the other file, however when i try to open the part 1 rar file to place it in the mod folder it says the file is broken. Any ideas btw i use 77-zip

Try WinRAR or download a new version 7zip
