Iceland is one of those maps that could be completely amazing if more roads/work was done in it. Its a shame the project is abandoned.
Any news? Or we need to forget about Iceland for good?

We don't "abandon" projects in ProMods. The focus just shifts from one area to another where development is necessary. Iceland was developed by PH-AMG, Purno and Abraxas. All those 3 developers have retired and have not been active in the project for a long time now.
Iceland is more or less finished the way it is so there is no immediate need to upgrade or expand it.
There are other areas on the map that need much more work so that's where the developers' time and effort is focussed.
