Promods file saved as notepad

Ive installed the promode files with the free option, but i've changed the 006 to notepad.
When I download it again it donwloads as a notepad file. It doesnt matter what browser I use.
The TestFiles doesnt recognise it.
How can I change the 006 file to its previous version?

It shouldn't matter, but all other files are a mess, with those additional (x) characters.
It won't extract if you right-click on .001 and click "Extract here"?

like Vøytek said, and to change it back to 7zip or rar icons...

i think... -> mouse right click -> open with -> choose your software -> always open with xyz.

Thats what happens when i extract the 001 file

I tried but Winrar shows me, that the archives are broken

did we said already: remove ALL (1) behind the files?
