ProMods

Hi all,

I have recently bought the promods from the link provided here, however once I downloaded it I never downloaded a file, only one document, so when I moved this over to the mods section in ETS 2 it didnt work. So then I proceed to download the free ones and I had the exact same outcome when it didnt work.

Any idea???

Did you extract downloaded file(s)?

You need to extract contents out of this file promods-v243.7z with 7-zip and place all files to Documents -> ETS2 -> mod folder.
Also you need to generate def file and place in the same folder.

I didnt get a file to be able to extract when I downloaded via the link, literally only got one of the documents, not the file with all the things inside to extract

What did you get?
Name of the file/document?

Do you have 7-zip?

All I got when I downloaded it was a single document named, promods-v243.7z.

Matt, what you got is an archive file, that contains the files you need. You have to extract the contents using 7-zip. If you already have it on your computer because you needed it already, right-clicking the downloaded file should get the option "extract", do it and you have all the files necessary except the def-file. (Otherwise just download the 7-zip from the link Shiva provided.) The def-file has to be created separately - if you didn't create it yet, go back to the installation process and there at step one, click on "click here to generate your def file", answer the questions and choose your options and then hit "generate". It's a small file so downloads in seconds.

Sorry about the spam but thank you for linking the tutorial, I couldnt find this before but somehow taking it step by step and following it to the T it works perfectly, thanks man
