Removing/add map problem with truck driver

Hello
2.45 is close but is not compatible with rusmap that i'm using. Until will be a compatible map i have to remove rusmap but I have several drivers in that area.
In the past i shall fired the drivers because they are locked in a missing map and the game crash when i click on their face. There's a solution to don't loose the driver when maps are removed?(what do you do when you change map?)
