If you further have created Iceland in 1:15 too, I assume it will mostly be needed
a movement of Iceland!
It has taken me 4 months to not quite finish rebuilding Reykjavík & the Southern Penisula Region in 1:19 scale. To rebuild Iceland will take years. To rebuild it in a different scale and location is simply out of the question. It is obviously possible in theory but practical limitations such as time and computing power make it unfeasible in practice. Iceland will remain at the *correct* (1:19) scale and the same location.

It's also not possible to enable the scaling hack because parts of the UK (Mainly East Anglia) lie outside this area, so anything built there would have a different scale to the rest of the UK.

"Small parenthesis"

Fascinating this subject and it's not ironic, it's impressive to see the Therme technique used by card creators, and to see how much all this implies a work that we can't even imagine :o  ....

So just for that alone I want to say a big bravo to all the card designers, for your time, your commitment and your passion to entertain us simple player. ;) .

@OfficialDOWL

Thanks for that info, then we can stop discussing the UK problem.
All is up to you on that, and I wouldn't have done that job either, as
it then is a rescaling from 1:19 to 1:15 to avoid rescaling the UK area.

Have you even read anything in our posts? We say why rescaling Iceland is practically not an option either...

I have read your post. You basically suggest we should rework Iceland in 1:15. I've replied why this is problematic as well. Am I missing something?

Would you call that a demand from me to you to rescale Iceland? I have no problems with your
UK area, you have. I have already fixed that in my BGs, so no problem for me! Please, return to
constructive talks or I'll drop out of here!

So you have fixed your background then. So what is the actual problem remaining then?

I mean, it's probably easier for you to fix/botch the background so it fits our map than for use to break up and re-assemble our own map...

maybe start reading this thread once again.
it was started that the community said, ProMods new BG is wrong.

and you proved it here:

For all of you! This is a comparison between the ORIGINAL SCS BG map and the new PM BG map!
The plain blue color is coming from the PM BG map, which is clearly overshooting in many areas!
Both are matched in the central Europe region where PM can't change much! ENJOY!

well, all the time you said the problem is/was the south east, Cyprus, Turkey, ME etc, that ProMods did this area wrong. why don´t make it easy and show us at your picture where it is wrong.

the problems in the north, UK/ Iceland is a different story like you was talking about now.
so it is not legit if Mandelsoft ask you what is now the problem? is the real problem that ProMods decided to use the SCS base BG? did you want that they go a step back to the wrong scale again because of.............? because other map modders used your BG as reference?

sorry i know my english is bad, but i really don´t get it? Image

again. please show me at your own picture what ProMods did wrong compare to SCS BG. (i´m not talking about the north)
