I have to disagree, since both are truck simulators made by the same company.Memphis84 wrote:We have some topics about Euro Truck Simulator , about Europe not America
American Truck Simulator is not so interesting like our European Simulator
Just because it is set in America doesn't mean it's less interesting.
I did notice that they mapped California in a very detailed fashion. That means that if they will eventually map the entire US, the map will be HUGE, and that it will take a VERY LONG time.
Just a trucker who came here to drive and enjoy the road.

Primm is a "city" in ATS? -seriously? -it must have changed a lot over the last 15 years then, because when I visited California it was just a shopping centre off of I15. Absolutely nothing there but desert.

It seems to me that the scale of ATS will be bigger than ETS2. Instead of maybe 1:19, it is maybe 1:15 or maybe 1:10. Something around that.

Quite the opposite, in fact. Judging from the gameplay footage, I'd say the scale is 1:25 at best. Time flies in those clips.Chris94_NOR wrote:It seems to me that the scale of ATS will be bigger than ETS2. Instead of maybe 1:19, it is maybe 1:15 or maybe 1:10. Something around that.

So the post-apocalyptic city of Primm in 2281 is a marked improvement?Jan Verschueren wrote:Primm is a "city" in ATS? -seriously? -must have changed a lot over the last 15 years then, because when I visited California it was just a shopping centre off of I15. Absolutely nothing there but desert.
If that was so, you'd never get from one end to the other - the US are friggin' huge. It takes long enough to get from the UK to PolandIt seems to me that the scale of ATS will be bigger than ETS2. Instead of maybe 1:19, it is maybe 1:15 or maybe 1:10. Something around that.
