ETS2 Update 1.19 on Steam

Hi All,

Apologies if not the right forum but my PC has just picked up on the ETS2 1.19 update through Steam which I imagine as per the recent beta would cause issues with ProMods v1.95...so thought I would give a heads up on this!

In an odd way to combat this I have found that if you follow the below you can stop Steam updating to v1.19 to keep ProMods compatibility:
1. Right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 in Steam library and select Properties.
2. On the Properties menu select the betas tab.
3. On the dropdown menu here select "temporary_1_18_01_03 - 1.18.1.3 for incompatible mods".

And that is it, this will stop Steam updating ETS2 to v1.19 and causing Promods issues!

Obviously once the ProMods team make v1.95 compatible with ETS2 v1.19 then you can follow the same steps above to change the step 3 dropdown menu to "NONE" and your PC will then pick up the ETS v1.19 update as normal. I have tested the above and confirm my current save still works.

promods 1.95 with 1.18 at the moment

i use it and have no problem with it - 1.19 is at the moment for the dustbin
