Thanks Truckers

Common modders, surely someone has a winter mod that "works?
Just think driving on the snow and ice, skidding off the road.
Oh the tales of winter can be told. Ah what the heck, Bring it on.................Please.

there is a winter mod i think that is compatible for the map but i dont know if its compatible with version 1.7.1
There is no winter mod that makes roads slippery, it just changes the look of the landscape, but I think no winter mod is currently compatible with 1.7.x or higher
I am Dutch living in New Zealand and I speak EN DE SE FR
There are some good 1.7.x running winter mods, especially the one from Satan199990
Creating more slippery roads is not that hard but it can be a real pain in the ass once you can't get up the hill

Am I developing at the moment?

In real life I had to stop at the bottom of the hill and put on tire chains ( Usualy required by state highway patrol setting on side of road just daring you to keep going with out chains LOL ( just one set of drivers After you lock them down ). This was I-40 near the Grand Canyon Mt.Williams. Williams, Arizona ( very small town on side of interstate ) is at top, where the bottom highway was bare of snow but as you climbed 4,000 feet almost straight up the snow on the sides got up to five maybe seven feet. Snow plows going up and down hill and spreading sand/salt but never the less a tractor trailer rig would never make it to the top with out chains. Also it was a $500.00 Dollar fine for not useing them EVEN down hill as the salt/sand was not enough because of the very heavy snows. In febuary 1986 I lost my rig to a 6 foot drift right across the road durring a blizzard ( no blizzard when I started out ), Jacked her on the right side and put me in the hospital. OOOH that was a lot of fun.
Shut both East and West bound lanes down for 4 1/2 hours 3 to 7:30 P.M. What a mess.
Hey Nico if we can get a winter mod will you mod the tire chains?
Never went back to williams, Arizona on Interstate-40 in the winter time, took I-10 a few hundred miles due south.
