i finished an job in a quarry and i am strugging to get up the thill in the quarry to get out. i am traveling 5MPH and it goes to 0 and back to 5. does this mean i need to in crease "info[]: "1@@dg@@050-1@@dg@@400 @@rpm@@" to beable to go up steap hill
Highlighted area above is incorrect. The lines should look like that:
info[]: "7@@dg@@500 @@nm@@"
torque: 7500
The RPM bracket is fine but if you want better performance change the line to:
info[]: "0@@dg@@900-1@@dg@@650 @@rpm@@"
I should also point out that 1000hp = 746 Kw. I do not recommend that you change the kerb_weight which represents your truck's weight (spread between the axles) and obviously it's balance. If you want to change the weight you need to distribute it evenly between the 3 axles otherwise you will find your ride out of balance and nasty to drive (esp. without trailer). Remember: the higher the kerb_weight values the heavier your Volvo is going to be with/without trailer. Also note that no part of the vanilla ETS2 (incl. trucks and physics - the latter does your head in, not the chassis waights) and ProMods are designed for extremely heavy/wide/tall/long loads. So... expect problems, in other words.
Last but not least - the ProMods forum IS NOT the place to address this sort of matters. It's for the map and all related issues to it. The official SCS Software forum is rather more suitable place to talk about engine and chassis mods: http://forum.scssoft.com/. However, if you have some questions feel free to contact me via PM
Two things about ETS2 I hate - you can never hit F10 or the brakes fast enough.
