Ah you are talking about map mods... well that will be even harder to combine than trailer/truck mods...
So far we got teams already instead of just single person projects, and I think the way its done now is ideal enough... Downloading is just a part of using mods.

Bigger mods doesn't mean less bugs, but frequently this means MORE bugs. The bigger and more complex a mod is, the more things can go wrong without being noticed at first. True, a team does help with spotting these errors, but still a lot slips through our fingers unnoticed.

Besides, some modding groups don't want to work together. For instance, neither TSM and ProMods want to see their work merged, TSM probably because of redundancy and own plans, and Promods because of the lack of quality on the TSM map. Another co-operation that will not happen is ProMods and Project Realism, since the author of Project Realism doesn't like our mod.
However, this doesn't mean that co-operations don't happen. For instance, KMM has joined ProMods with his map mod and we have combined it in v1.50. There is a possibility that Poland Rebuilding merges with Promods, but we are still working out the DLC vs. Non-DLC issues, because this map will make ProMods DLC dependent when merged. Implementation issues can make this sort of thing hard...

I would realy love Antwerp in the game. Also would realy like Ghent to be in the mod aswell. You can put the Volvo Cars factory there and Volvo Trucks.
