That's what i've supposed reading various blogs and forums, seeing the map and a video from Youtube (Ats build 0.60 alpha gameplay). In the video you can see the clock in the navigator window and it goes very very fast, about 2 real seconds for a game-minute... The clock and the map scale are related. However, i repeat, mine are only assumptions, i hope i'm wrong

For example, Rhode Island in 1:32,5 scale is just 1 (ONE) kilometer wide in game ... funny...There will be a sign that says "you're entering-exiting from Rhode Island!" maybe

I have to say that I am more than disappointed with ATS. I bought ETS 2 and all DLC's and was happy with it and I will keep supporting the team but ATS is just not good enough. There is nothing new compared to ETS 2 - it's just an USA map with almost every state being released as a DLC. Furthermore, we've been waiting for this for a long time but what? The initial release will have only one or two states... This is like releasing ETS 2 with only Britain and Germany, asking for money if more countries are wanted. Well, we will pay for the game - you don't have to make us feel like retard and specially ask for money.

Nowadays I don't truck in ETS 2 much because I was looking forward to buying ATS. In fact, trucking in USA is a real-life dream for me so I was definitely hyped for this game, but it seems I will not even buy it until some DLC's are released with some improvements made - of course, will also wait for hell of a Steam discount.

Yes I know USA is a huge country and I am by no means expecting the team to build it all in a few months - in the end, we have a big European map thanks to ProMods and even this took more than a year, but still, my overall impression towards ATS 2 is that it's far from being worth buying the moment it's released.

By the way, what is the scale for ETS? I see lelux is frustrated with 1:32,5 for USA... What is it in ETS and ProMods?
