Besides that, why would you go back to your startpoint? Just take a job from A to B, from B to C, etc.
Maybe the delivery was to a small town and there is no cargo to load up to the trailer bought and maybe the largest city is far than the city that i left from , or i have to go back due to damage to the trailer until it is fixed to load up again :D

It means that we can come back to our starting point with empty trailer and some loss of money due to fuel comsumption/truck maintenance fee at arrival...?
Probably, but let's face it, it's ridiculously easy to make money in this game. I use a hard economy mod, and still find that making money is extremely easy. I don't know of many millionaire truckers in real life.

However, I imagine that you could offset the cost of driving empty by having jobs worth more. This could simulate the customer not having to buy or maintain a trailer, so they would pay the trucker a little more to compensate for his trailer costs.
It would be great that SCS pushes the economy system that far in the game , as am not using any mods for economy than map mods and jazzycat's mods.

To be fair, real-life truckers need to pay for food, housing, family expenses, health care, clothing, etc... I personally play the truck simulator games specifically because they aren't the Sims

Side note, with the custom trailers (and I presume all the custom trailer paint job mods that will be coming out soon after), I think it would be nice if SCS added a system where trucks that you own can spawn in AI traffic. I've read their response to the idea of having AI drivers being on deliveries they are actually on, and I agree that would be too much work for too little payoff, but it would be nice if at least some AI trucks had custom paint jobs every once in a while. Nicer still if it were weighted based on how many drivers you have with that paint job. Like, say, if I own half the garages in Europe, have them full with workers and trucks with the same custom paint job, it would be cool to see one of them passing by every once in a while even if they're going nowhere in particular.

Hired driveres spawned in traffic already in PTTM. I know that game engine changed in meantime, but they know how to do it so hopefully it will appear somewhen in future update.

Baltic DLC is going to be great, not only for the map but for the assets needed for some Promods Areas.
