The "Own a trailer" thing is a VERY IMPORTANT Update. The reason is that in the game you can work as a "Hired driver" of some company or, buy your own truck and work as a "free lance" driver. And that's fine but when it comes to trailers, depending on what type of haul you usually drive around, some real life drivers have 1 or even a few trailers of their own.
I know a lot of truck drivers that are free lance drivers with their own truck that work for many different logistic companies that specialize in shipping containers and they usually have two trailers. One for 1x20 - 1x40HC containers and another that is a dump trailer. Depending on the job they get they use one or the other, that way they make more money.
Something like this:
1x20 - 1x40HC
Dump trailer
TL:DR = More realism to the game!

Well, you can't be taking all the credit for yourself...
Great addition though, really looking forward to it.

It means that we can come back to our starting point with empty trailer and some loss of money due to fuel comsumption/truck maintenance fee at arrival...?PirriAND wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018 23:48The "Own a trailer" thing is a VERY IMPORTANT Update. Probably, but let's face it, it's ridiculously easy to make money in this game. I use a hard economy mod, and still find that making money is extremely easy. I don't know of many millionaire truckers in real life.
However, I imagine that you could offset the cost of driving empty by having jobs worth more. This could simulate the customer not having to buy or maintain a trailer, so they would pay the trucker a little more to compensate for his trailer costs.

Besides that, why would you go back to your startpoint? Just take a job from A to B, from B to C, etc.
