SCS hasn't reveal their France road map yet, but if they took different mapping style or even choose the different road than ProMods,
what I'm afraid is that PM France and PM Spain might have big changes to pair with DLC correctly.
but before all of these happens, we still have to wait until it's ready

Yes, roads won't fit for sure. Scandinavia required only one road fix on Denmark-Germany border. Now it's much more so it's a lot of work that will require a lot of time but it'll be for good

It was said long time ago and many gaming sites state that it'll be released in 2017, so be patient.

You also should keep in mind that the France DLC will be most likely larger with more cities and driveable kilometers than Scandinavia DLC has been. Furthermore, it will also be most likely more complex (city structure, interchanges) and more detailed, so of course, it is more work compared to Scandinavia that has to be done.
So, please guys, give them the time, they need. ProMods France did also take much longer. Okay, it was only Kutchek who was working on it, but in the DLC, there might come more cities than we got in ProMods France (e.g. La Rochelle that is not in ProMods, but seems to be in the DLC judging by the last screenshots SCS gave us) at most likely nearly the same detail level as ProMods.
SCS is also only a small company, so they can't have thousands of mappers on the DLC. I guess, they even have less mappers than ProMods and they also only work 5 days per week for 8 hours, not like ProMods, where the team seems to work 24/7 for it .

Anyway, those screens are well choosen, don't know if the places shown are "realistic", but definitly a french atmosphere.

I don't even think about how long it will take to see the whole map rebuilded - for one country to stay more than one year , at least 5 years with this snail speed
they should give us at least some new areas for free, at least in the north - Norway - Trondheimv & Sweden - Sundsvall
