I do not know if it is Promod or SCS, who has caused it, but lately I can not get out of a quarry by myself. And I am talking about the deep quarrys like in France.
One day I had a 750 bHp Volvo and a 20 tons trailer, I must call for help.
Today I had a 520 bHp Magnum and a 20 tons trailer, I must once again call for help.
In the begining of my time here ( been here since 1.12 ) it is first now I had this problems. On the same journey as the Volvo I was having my brake at a parking lot on Rusmap. There was gravel and I could only manege to drive few meters before the engine revs went down. I left the parking lot on my own , but it was not easy, even with a 750 bHp Volvo.
With kind regards
Henry

If you mean those Stein Bruch quarries, then I know what you mean.
From my own experience, there is a certain way you can get out of there but truck will go very slowly.
When you are leaving the quarry, every turn you go, try to take your truck to the outside corner (or at least, close to it). That way your trucks rear wheels should have grip on the gravel and climb up. If you take the inside corner, other side wheel will rise from the ground and lose traction so you'll end up revving the truck. Also, when you are approaching the first turn, make sure to speed up a little
That way I've successfully climbed those hills even with a 360hp Scania

I've had same type of issue when leaving quarries , it has to do with automatic gearbox system , so i changed to manual and it works fine to get out from there or icy roads as in iceland.

thank u but how do I change to manual gear. My stering wheel is Logitech force GT. I understand that if you have a high end controller like the G27 or G29 then you can change to manual.

It's in game settings. You should find it without problems. Then just assign gear up and gear down to some buttons on keyboard/steering wheel and it should work
