Just looking at google maps. Svalbard doesn't appear to have much of road system. If this is true, would there be a point adding it?

This is a truck sim, not a snowmobile sim, so what's the point in adding Svalbard or Greenland?

Just for fun, cause some people like to drive over snow, which provides a different challenge to trucking. It would be interesting if some of the devs of the roads could make an Ice road of sorts, making control of the truck a real challenge. There are many Ice Roads in the northern parts of America and I assume Greenland may have some of the same temporary roads in place.

Greenland is out of question for several reasons:

#1 no road network
#2 it's technically North America
#3 there are many other European countries that aren't even in the map (Ireland, Portugal, Greece, etc.)

Huge thanks to all of you for the interest and positive replies on this topic. Never thought it could become this big... It's been great, even though it won't be out, at least not for a while. However, you might see a Greenland add-on some day

What Svalbard? We have absolutely no plans towards this island because of being very remote and having nearly no road networks.

Afaik there's no RO-RO ferries betwen Europe and Greenland
