In May 2016 i had wait round about 4 hours because of the polish guys and polish border guard.

Maybe because MRG [ Mały Ruch Graniczny - local border traffic ] was suspended with PL-RUS border in 07.2016.

So you need passport and visa.

ID and visas were available, on the Russian side we only had to wait ten minutes. It was on way back from Kaliningrad/Curonian Spit (holiday) 05.2016 to Gdansk-Greifswald.

i know i know on the way to Kaliningrad we drove S22/E28 Elbląg - Grzechotki - KLG passing boarder 40 Minutes, but on the way back we drove about Mamonowo/Heiligenbeil 4 hours.
