Hello Promods forum!

I was encouraged to post timelapses i've recorded on the road in the Mercedes Actros truck i drive during work.
I drive for the most part in the northern part of Sweden but also southbound on occation.

This is the truck i drive for those interested:

I intend to record as often as i can on the road and upload that to YouTube.

I will update this post with links to new timelapses as i add them to the YT channel.

Feedback is always appreciated and i hope this might help the promods devs get a better view of current state of roads.

First video will be a short recording of a drive along the E4 from Tönnebro (North of Gävle) and a small sprint along E16 then turning south on to road 56 towards Västerås.

Sala to Norrköping along road 56.

Lycksele to Umeå along E12. (Winter)

Thanks for watching!

Hey there ,

Nice Mercedes you got ;) , is it built in trailer or changeable , and what do you haul as cargo?

Thanks!

Its all fixed to the chassi with a hydraulic system for opening the sides and tipping the entire box of both Truck and Trailer.

During winter its mainly sawdust and pellets in bulk from northern Sweden and hauling that to heatplants around southern Sweden. Also sometimes pallets, lumber or bales of different sorts.

Here is a image of me loading wrapped bales from a farm.

Great thanks for sharing about your job , you have to load and unload your trailer by yourself? , i work in a shop when the truck come , the driver won't have to do anything than driving , us have to unload the cargo by ourselves.

It depends on the location, some places have staff that does the loading/unloading like your shop does. Sometimes there is a tractor or forklift for me to borrow to do it myself.

Recorded another trip the other day, now available on Youtube and the link is in the first post.

Hey folks!
Sorry for the hiatus, winter has come...that means darkness and more difficult driving.

Due to this i have not been able to setup the time lapse as often as i would have liked.

I'm not giving up! I will try to record as best and often as possible, just the posting of videos will be a bit slower until i have more than 4-5 hours of daylight to work with.

I did manage to get a video done around Christmas and it's now on my YT channel.

It's a 2.5 hour drive from Lycksele to Umeå along E12.
This id one of my favorite roads to drive on, especially during winter.

Enjoy!
