Hello fellow truckers,

I have a quick question regarding adding mods from the workshop. I have 2 workshop mods added (which you should totally check out btw, they're called: ETS2 new interiors pack v0.2 and Interior Lights & Emblems).
But I am wondering, if the creator updates the workshop mod, and I have it already installed, does it automatically update in my game or do I have to do something like re-download it?
I'm new to the whole workshop stuff. I was hoping someone could give me some insight on this matter.

I believe Workshop items auto-update when you start the game. If there is an update available of course.

Btw, I was wondering about something else and I don't want to make yet another topic and flood your forum. The Schwarzmüller trailer DLC. If I were to purchase that, does it replace alot of trailers with them or just add them for even more variety?
I'm running Jazzycat trailers already, so I don't know how I should see it exactly what it will do.

It allows you to choose a Schwarzmüller trailer if you want.

So when I pick a job, I can change the trailer into a Schwarzmüller one, or how am I supposed to understand this?

Yes, when you get a job, it may spawn as a Schwarzmüller trailer or a standard trailer (or any modded trailer). So you just go into that trailer chooser and choose Schwarzmüller just like you would choose any other modded trailer. It's always at the end of the list.

Okay I'm a real big noob it seems. I never knew you could change the trailer when accepting a job. So I've always just driven with the trailer the job gave me. How does one change? And will it then permanently change for all future jobs or only that one? As in, I like the variety there is now. Can I set it back, etc.

You just pick a job in the Freight Market. Then you drive to a company and you press Enter to activate the green trigger at the entrance. You'll see all available jobs in that company. And each trailer has a small cogwheel icon next to it, where you can change the trailer. It'll only affect this one job

I think it was added in 1.25, somewhere in October 2016. Have fun driving with a trailer of your choice
