Hello devs,
Since yesterday the Macedonian government has accepted the reforms in the constitution about it's name. The new one will be Republic of North Macedonia and will never use again the name FYROM. Will you make this change or you will leave it as it is, Since some of the users do not agree with these constitution changes?

ProMods uses SCS’ localization (references to locale.scs) for country names, i.e. this is a question you have to put to SCS.

There is one satirical news on satiric portal Njuz.net (that is spelling of 'news'), so who understand Serbian can laugh.

What happened to South Macedonia?

Back in the old days when I still was in school, European topography was doable. I had some great help in the form on a C64 computer game where you needed to fly a helicopter to the various countries (easy setting) or Capitals (hard).
You had Russia (USSR) with it's Moscow capital, but shared into more countries than I can count on two hands. Not long thereafter Czechoslovakia decided that their name was too long, so they cut it in half resulting in two countries Czech and Slovakia. A few years later Yugoslavia burst into war and dissolved into 7 territories..

I actually feel a little bad for my nephews who actually has to keep their topography up to date if they want to pass their school exam..

I guess in The Netherlands we have some weird names for provinces also. In the South we North Brabant, while Belgium just has Brabant. Once it was one area when Flanders was part of the Netherlands. When Belgium was formed that province was split up, so naming it North seems a natural thing to keep the two separated. However we also have a province called 'South Limburg' which lies North of the Belgium Limburg, so that I would call an anomaly ;-)
