Ok somes parts of Baltics or Germany are old. But if you have something new or under construction, why want a 2nd time exactly the same place. I can understand that it's not the same thing but ...

Probably balkan DLC is going to be next, is a huge area with a lot of countries and many different landscapes.

I hope it will be Iberia. Could be possibly connected to the base map by ferries (Portsmouth – Bilbao, Genua – Barcelona). The only part of ETS1 that's not covered yet.

Guess that could be true because I've assumed it would be Iberia before Baltic DLC too. But have you got a source for this piece of information?
Also, if they keep going counter-clockwise from Czechia the next DLCs would be: Ireland, Iberia, Balkans, Russia, Iceland. But probably it doesn't work like that

I'm almost (emphasis on almost) certain that the next DLC will be the Balkans. Afterwards, maybe the Iberian Peninsula? And maybe an "Islands DLC" after that, because Ireland and Iceland are too small to be separate DLC's. It could maybe include other islands like Sardinia & Corsica.

Well, ProMods is not SCS. Both are completely different from each other; have a look at the new Germany or Baltic which has a completely other atmosphere.
We all are fun of Promods, we like Promods way of mapping unlike SCS (most of us), level of details, level of road network,... I also don't understand why you can't wait for DLC (because of new areas). I am not talking about Baltics or Italy. Those areas are ok for wanting DLC: no Promods map there or it is very old. But why you so much want Balkan DLC (with Hungary rebuild) when there is new very awesome Promods map, DLC never will be better and progress is the fastest nowhere but on Balkan. It sounds like: "We like Promods, it is the best map, but hurray, we much more like and want DLC. It doesn't matter that it is mostly worse."

I think you confused and merged my opinion with TheNuvolari's.
I didn't say anything about the mapping quality, I just wanted to say that same areas look different when they are done by different mappers or teams. I didn't say that SCS has better quality than ProMods or vice versa. It has a few advantages if a region is included in the base game and not only in mods: You won't have problems with updating it, you won't have to activate them and you are able to play TruckersMulti or WorldOfTrucks, for example.
