Surely it can't be Sardinia on its own? They must be adding Corsica as well (it's right next door after all). Unless it's for free (as Shiva said)...

It could be, but from what I can see in the picture, it could be Sardinia:
- Those houses can be found all over Italy (in the DLC).
- The road texture is used in Italy (they could however use it for Corsica too).
Palermo, Italy
- The cars are Italian (the Fiat Panda is usually not seen outside of Italy in game).
- Like the rest of France, Corsica has broken road markings on each side of the road (Google Maps).
- Like the rest of Italy, Sardinia has unbroken road markings on the side of the road (Google Maps) as seen in the picture.
What doesn't help any of us are:
- Those telephone poles are found in both France and Italy.
Outside Palermo
Near Paluel, France
- Zooming on the number/license plates, they both contain blue bands on each side, which is used on both French and Italian number/license plates.
This is what I've thought, but I could be (and usually am) completely wrong.
