I often used normal cars in ETS2, but in fact i've always wondered, what is the sense of using car in ETS2? You cant carry any cargo or anything.

There is no actual use for player to use normal cars in ETS2. That's why the game is called 'Euro TRUCK Simulator 2' and you need mods to be able to use them. There are no normal cars to be used by players in the base game.

I once download a "House Mod" and i would drive from my house to base with my car and then from there pick up my truck and work.

I tried to do it as much realistic as possible.

Maybe using a car could be easier for exploring the map areas that a 40 tonne artic can't get to.

I don't know of any places in the game where a 40 tonne truck can't get to..

If there were any places meant to be visited by a truck, which aren't reachable by a truck. Our beta-testers would have reported those, and the devs would have corrected them.

I'm sure the Lower Town of Fishguard, Wales is inaccessible by most trucks (all trucks in real life), although its not marked on the map.

If it's not marked on the map, it's not 'officially' in the game.
