It was for holidays. I wanted to see a part of Africa, so I decided to go there. You can spend nice holidays on awesome beaches and see the countryside in a view km of driving.

When I was in Prague a few weeks ago my hotel was just a few streets apart from SCS headquarter... and I just didn't know! :( :cry:

I guess living in Australia its quite hard to drive to other countries without using other means of transport ;). That's an advantage of Europe.

I've visited the Netherlands and Belgium on several occasions, and had a holiday in Denmark. Most of those journeys were taken on ferry services that no longer operate :( . So as you can see, I've only managed to travel Europe's flattest countries. And, I live in the flattest county in England too :lol: .

But I'll wager no-one can come close to this guy for world travel: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/special/2014/ ... index.html 8-)

Yeah but at least I don't have to understand (or learn) a new language every time I cross a border. ;)

My list is pretty unimpressive, but countries I've visited;

Image Netherlands (my home country)
Image Belgium (mainly as a gateway to travel to other countries)
Image Germany
Image Austria
Image Switzerland (my favourite country to spend the holidays)
Image Luxembourg (although I was only a few years old and I can't remember a thing of it)
Image France
Image Spain (but only a kilometer past the French border)
Image United Kingdom
Image Czech Republic
Image Denmark (but I don't remember much of it, we were visiting Legoland when I was a kid)

I'm not really a traveller, but there are a few countries I really want to visit at least once in my life. My to-do list is;
Image Iceland
Image Japan
Image USA
