Hey y'all,

Can anyone tell me how to edit a skybox mod to remove the Moon? Anyone who has used one quite possibly has seen this before...



And an oval Moon is a total immersion breaker... I can edit the .dds files to "fix" the images, but there's a glow that is still there and I have no idea where it's coming from.



Any assistance in making this go away will be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. I figured it out.

So what's the solution? That grinds my gears aswell.

I had missed a couple of images. In the mod I use, which is New Weather 1.5 by Schumi, the main skybox images are in a folder with that name (skybox), but there are also a couple of others in another folder. Once I found and edited all of the images, I think I solved the problem. I won't be sure until I do a lot of night driving though, which may take me awhile. Too much night driving gives me a headache. But so far so good!
