64 BIT and 1.16 beta

It seems that I have more right than I should when I for an hour ago wrote in another thread that we need to be patinece about PROMODS update. At the offiicial site in steam they have anounced a 64 BIT update and 1.16. ( Sorry for my english but you know what I mean )

So more work to the PROMOD Team decided by the developer. I hope you can solve the issues

Thank you Henry . Yes, at the moment the best option is to play the 1.15 game with ProMods added to avoid game-crash issues caused by 1.16.
A 64bit version of 1.15 is available using Launch Options on the Steam client.

I have the 1.16 beta installed (not the 64 bit) and my ProMods works fine.

It will work fine as long as you avoid going near large truck dealers .

I have just been driven with 1.16 beta and 64 bit. IT works fine so far but there can be some hidden issues as I do not know yet. If there are then I hope they will be solved when the time is right. The text between the citations is from the official site.

Now when starting the game from Steam in lets you choose between 32 bits and 64. Also, right clicking in the game>Properties>Launch Options and typing -64bit it'll automatically start the 64 bit version from desktop too.

But beware!!! I stopped using it after a time because there seems to be problems with the Christmas Gifts trailers. Everytime they appear in the job market or the map, CTD.

Thanks jontsuba for the explanation . And another switch you can add to the Steam command line of course is -nointro if you wish .

I'm not talking about 1.16 beta but the 64 bits version of 1.15. Everytime a particular christmas gifts' trailer appear, CTD. But not in 32 bits. Later on I thought it may be because of the trailers' mod I use, but then why doesn't it crash in 32 bits version?

By the way, I also have since yesterday the -nointro flag... How could I have lived without it until now?
