Have set some plans to upgrade my desktop computer to be a really good gaming computer. Tomorrow i am gonna order a new power supply so it can support a better graphics card. With the graphics card i am getting i need a more powerful PSU. The one i have now is from Delta Electronics Inc and is on 500W but the one i am gonna get is gonna be a Corsair on 750W. The graphics card i have now is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 with 3GB VRAM, and i am gonna upgrade it with a MSI GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB VRAM. That one need a bigger power supply. Anyways, the warranty on my computer is already out, so i can just upgrade it anyway, but gonna be cautious. I bought the computer 2 years ago and the warranty lasted 2 years so it is already out.

I have the same PSU and graphics card myself. The VRAM is advertised as 4GB, but only 3.5GB is accessible at "full speed." The last 0.5 GB is "slow speed". For practical purposes though, this is virtually unnoticeable unless you really load the card down heavily.
I've had this for almost two years now and have been very, very pleased with the combination!

I have that card too; it's great and looks badass. I also have a 750W power supply but it's EVGA.
Putting together a proper gaming desktop (full parts list here) allowed me to finally enjoy the full beauty of ETS2, although it should be noted it doesn't run at 60fps even in relatively undetailed areas at max settings and 400% scaling. At 300% it generally stays at 60 in the countryside and dips variably in cities. It was lowest in Hamburg and Stockholm but I didn't see it go below 30. So you will have a good time with this card

Probably so but the 980 was so expensive, almost twice as expensive than 970. The 970 cost NOK3800(€408) but the 980 was ranging between NOK5800(€620) and NOK7700(€830)
Saw some reviews from other's that the 970 is really good and is very quite. This one is 3.5GB+ 0.5GB VRAM.
