Yes of course, we could definitely use one.

I know the English version could use some updating and I could provide you guys with a nicely detailed and structured one if you would like. I could try and encompass some of the usual problems encountered when downloading as well if you like.

No need to, I will update the original tutorial once ProMods 2.1 is out. ;)

ok, just make sure you explain the area where you extract the files a bit more. Think that might help those who don't know how to properly extract the package.

I think that the whole extract thing is confusing, all they need is double-click the first file and drag-and-drop the content into the mod folder.

 your thinking like a real techie there Peterson. Not all are so gifted with that kind of common sense and intuition. ;)

Not really... Double-clicking is the most basic thing actually ;)
And extracting files is also one of easiest things. If you want to mod your game - you have to know that mod exist. So you have to be more than just a noob gamer with no PC knowledge and you should be able to do such easy things. If not - time to read some tutorials "What you should know / Most useful things when using your PC". As I said somewhere - many games require much harder tasks to do in order to mod the game so how they want to do this if they can't extract archives? :/
Tutorial exists here. It's just as simple as following images. You can't improve it more I think... But try if it's possible :)

Well, there's an option of auto-extract, an executable file that will take the files and extract them where they should be.

It doesn't solve the problem, unfortunately. It was included in prebious version and people were trying to extract that .exe file...
