I recently saw a thread about VTCs (Virtual Trucking Companies), but for something different. So I decided to bring back the subject.

I'm actually thinking about joining one ;)

EDIT: 10000th post in this section :D

There are many VTC's around but only few of them are actually active.

I run my own with a few members from here, the ProMods community plus many others who have applied but never actually "worked".

And it's piece of cake to report of your work, just include the screenshot of "Job Completed" screen with all other info.

PM me if you'd like to join.

I don't really get the point of a VTC?

Well, one thing you can do is show your skills to VTC owners by completing jobs and getting an 'excellent' rating on them. Also sometimes it can be for fun.

Getting an excellent rating, I'm not the best at it ;)

I don't rate my drivers because everyone's driving differently.

I have drivers from both ends - one drives as economically as possible while one just keeps flooring it. I'm the gyu who's in the middle :D

I'm keeping my VTC just for fun, nothing is not meant to be taken seriously.

I get the idea of a VTC.
But this is something which could be so much better included in the game e.g. World of Trucks.
Similiar to clans in other games, you could join a vtc in ets2.
You could see the statistics, driven distance, transported tonnage, level of accuracy...
As an employee of a vtc you could get discount on trucks&parts.
Maybe SCS is reading this now, maybe something like this is already planned, who knows...

I doubt that SCS will not add VTC's into WoT or even implement it to the game. I mean it would be a good idea but still there are many players, who doesn't want to be involved in VTC's.

I`m pretty sure SCS is planning to add something similar as WoT is still Alpha :) In a meantime I`m using MyVTC check it out its a great tool to manage drivers and record millage it automatically calculates average fuel consumption and covered millage in addition you add screens of completed jobs to verify that and you can hire drivers by simply sharing a link to application :)

http://myvtc.net/

oh and you get one of these, which is cool :)

Can I still use the website with amount of jobs etc?
