I love Duolingo.
I currently learn:
German - essential language in Europe
Danish - both sisters learn it, also a very interesting language
Dutch - also a major language in Europe
Planned:
Romanian - one of my close friends is Romanian
Spanish - reportedly, soon Spanish will be the #1 most spoken language in the world.

I have completed Swedish and I'm following Spanish. I also started with Danish, Norwegian and Esperanto, but I didn't work on those for a while.

I had professional education in Dutch, English and German. I also had professional education in French, but I dropped the course because I was struggling with it a lot.

Well, 22 million native speakers is alot for me atleast

I'm interested in Swedish and German. Do you suggest me Doulingo (I didn't know of it before) or Babel?

I learn german with duolingo. I also learn it at school.

Yup. but, in order to learn Swedish, I have to set my language on "English" in Doulingo. So, this is more tedious for me.

I can only speak English and very little German because learning languages in school in the UK is a joke if you were to get a A* in a language, you would only be able to pick out phrases of someone speaking you recognize and only speak and write German phrases you can remember

But i wish to Learn Dutch because I am quarter Dutch plus learn French, Spanish

Well, you're lucky, you don't have to study English which all European schools study for years

Checked this out after seeing this thread. It seems like a fun way to learn. How detailed does it get? Might get the app and actually learn German. Shame it dosen't have Croatian/Serbian though.
