[Fixed] [#344] [1.71] Antwerpen, broken parking at PSA

by Blueleader
Hi.
I asked for an automatic parking of my trailer (transporting a retro excavator), at PSA co, in Antwerpen.
When I came back to my truck, It looked still attached to it and I was stuck between my trailer and the fence, with about only an inch to operate... not enough...
I don't know if the bug pretains to this forum, but I beleive Answerpen to be added by this mod if I'm not mistaking.

Thank you for the mod, though.

Please post a photo and the coordinates.
Also, disable all other mods, except Promods. That does help sometimes. :)

I can confirm. I'm on a quickjob here, so I can't do an autopark (that just takes me to the menu), but, even in manual mode, you have to drive smack up to the fence to get the outline to turn green, so this drop off point is either oriented incorrectly or misplaced. Also: notice standard game load.

I just brought a trailer to PSA in Antwerpen (the big shipyard with containers) and I had to park my trailer with the front of my truck against a fence, when I released the trailer, it was very hard to get out, since the trailer was still behind me and I my truck was parked against the fence. :?:

Search the forum before reporting a bug. This forum also adheres to the SCS bug reporting rules, found here. Except for the no mods thing, obviously.

Is it possible to flip that drop off point 180 degrees around?

I mean that you have to reverse into it, that would be better that we don't have to smack our trucks onto that fence (it will be okay if it will break or fall down like traffic signs) and got stuck between the trailer and fence.

Does anyone agree with me that this drop off point in PSA, Antwerp should be turned 180 degrees around that we can reverse onto it without any damage?

I used this mod : http://www.ets2planet.com/euro-truck-si ... money.html and

this mod : http://www.4shared.com/rar/qaSjWR6o/XPE ... d_JCV.html to level this test character up faster, so I had access to all trucks and upgrades as quickly as possible.

The reason I've spent over 1 million was I was buying the garage in all towns I visited, the idea being I could then easily fast travel anywhere to check on a bug. Later I learned this was easier acchieved through the console, so that's why I'm down from my starting €100,000,000,000,000,000.

As for the fuel, it was a Quickjob and there was enough to get to PSA. It still had 72km range when I left it, so I'm sure the owner made it to a petrol station.

Hehe, made my day  ... well I must admit I do the same for a bug / beta test profile :D . I created mods to start with €500,000 and get me up to level 70+ after a few jobs, with my own trucks and garages. As you say, to test certain things (such as a large garage), you need a game fully up and running. I only really use the console for goto jumps and to change the time.
