Your mod folder is a mess. You have to clean up all old versions of ProMods.

I downloaded the 1.98 version but there are still many framedrops, even if I use a good computer.
It's very unplayable sometimes and annoying; it's a pity that many of us can't use this mod because of the lag.
But this doesen't happen do all, I've noticed.
So, what can be the matter?

You graphics settings are set too high. Try to lower them. BTW the game is perfectly playable at 19 fps.

With the highest settings the game can bring down an extrame 6 core CPU and Raeon 295x2 gfx
Be gentle with the scaling don't use 400% unless you have a really highend PC eg with Titan in SLI

My laptop is in no way supposed to run ETS 2 well and have no problems in cities and highways in countries like France, UK, Germany etc. but do suffer issues in cities in Estonia and Finland. But not in Iceland for some bizarre reason. And ideas why my game hates Finland and Estonia?

I haven't played since September. I had ProMods v1.91, because I didn't have the Scandinavian DLC at the time. I recently got it because I heard 2.0 came out. I was able to achieve about 50~ FPS at the preset High visual settings before 2.0. Now in a city I get around 10~ FPS. I had to lower the visual settings to medium to get about 40~ in a city. Then I would get 100~ when I'm on the highway in the middle of nowhere. I think this mod needs some major optimizing.

Which city are we talking about?

If possible could you please enable the miniconsole and check tc numbers? Below 3 mill is within our limits
dlc_north also runs with this count number of places
Command in the console is g_minicon 1

Might be a city with errors in config and high output to the game log
Please provide us with your game log from from of the cities with low fps

I also know quite well about those game lagging problems.

First my game only had some lagging problems with the promods 1.98 and nothing else.It did work fine for me.

But now when the Ets2 1.22 and Promods 2.00 came out none of my mods worked anymore and it did only crash my game all the time.

So then after updating everything i had,i encountered a new problem.

It will take a longer time to load the game in the loading screen and when the game finally opens,i can use it with my trucks in a normal way,but sometimes when i start to drive for example in Finland the trees and everything nature related always comes after few seconds or not at all.I can only see green ground,roads,Ai cars,sky and buildings.And usually nothing else,especially outside of the city areas.

Those problems sound crazy to me,because i did beta test those areas with the same 2.00 game and they did work well.

So is there nothing that i can do about this annoying problem,because the game gives me problems everytime when i update it.
