How will you play American Truck Sim?

The issue might be solved, but if a company gives two trucks at launch and i'll have to download mods to get a complete experience (instead of a WIP game feeling), i don't think that company deserves my 20€.

Totally agree with you , SCS wants to give us real life trucks and not fake make as it was at the launch of Euro truck simulator 2 such as Ivedo for Iveco , but this new game is much cheaper than was ETS2 , i remember i paid 30€ .

I saw somewhere the game is less than 15€ , am trying the game , if it convinces me , i will buy it at that retailer.

Looks like the trucks brands are tough in matter of licences , i really don't understand these companies , as they are getting free ad , maybe SCS should be paid by these?.

And saying that SCS should be paid, that's ridiculous, can you imagine if EA was paid by Lamborghini to use their cars? The thing is that when you develop a game and you SELL it, you're making a PROFIT on behalf of a real life COMPANY without permission. That's illegal, you can't use a real-life mark and sell it without letting those guys in charge in that particular mark know, without their permission. Copyright infrigement, etc.

Blablabla, legal shit, so yes, license is a problem. And no, companies should not pay for them, they won't buy the right of developers to use their products...
