hi. so yesterday i was thinking of trying to make an extension(let's call it Utah dlc)of the vanilla ast map. did this in google maps: Utah mapping(wip)
extracted the base.scs file and def.scs so that i can glue it to the vanilla.
here is the confusing part which i did not find my answer searching google: i made the contour as you can see and put so cities and a couple of "roads". how can i put that in the map editor so that i can see more easily where i have to put the roads, cities, etc. while searching google i found something about importing the .kml file to some 3d software(??)and then edit it there and i'm lost.

I personally don't think this is a good idea as SCS will develop this area sooner or later.

i understand that, i'm just trying to get a grasp at this, understand how things work. trying to see what i can do at current level i am.maybe try to do Canada...(maybe not promods level but to see how far i can go).

SCS is now focusing on Arizona. By the time SCS has completed Utah, I think some modders will have already reached Texas xD. I'd say: Just do it. Of course, one day SCS will also include Utah, and it will probably look good, but that's gonna take a while.
