Hey guys,

SCS just announced that ETS2 and ATS will have their own Steam Workshop space in the future. My question is simple, will ProMods be available on this download space when it will be released? I think yes, but I just want a confirmation :)

No because Steam Workshop is limited to 1GB per mod.

I totally disagree. I wouldn't go to workshop just because of the community in it. Promods would probably lose their forums + as ETS2-User mentioned, they only have 1 GB of limit. So it wouldn't really pay off in both ways...

There are actually several reasons why ProMods cannot support the Steam Workshop currently (or rather, vice versa).

We may use it for some small add-ons though, that promote our mod and site :)

If I recall correctly, mods containing real logos and brands are banned from the Steam Workshop.

Then the workshop is going to be a complete flop. Forget about adding popular real trucks, trailers, billboards, etc. They all contain logos/copyright material

I do see a lot of real brands in the Cities: Skylines workshop
