But "Barenrs Sea extension" will connect more to the north - in Raja-Jooseppi/Svetly border crossing. And Rusmap is so far from russian Karelia and Murmansk region. So, the closest city in Russia is still Vyborg.
I've never been to North Finland - Is there no duplication to Swedish on road signs? Like Keskusta/Centrum in South regions ?

The north is either unilingual (Finnish) or bilingual without Swedish (Finnish/Sámi).
I haven't seen Keskusta/Centrum anywhere there (yet), but for example when approaching to Sodankylä, you will see this sign. (please note that it's very WIP screenshot, the only thing that will be left as in this image would be probably the sign )



Raja-Jooseppi isn't used much (usually by local traffic only). It will be built, but the primary border crossings will be Salla (to Kandalaksha, Russia) and Utsjoki (to Norway).

Yes, actually the target is to connect the Barents Sea Project to the rest of the map so it can be published in 2.10
