This is the one that Denby Transport of Lincoln, UK tried back in December 2009. According to Wikinaccurate "As of 2009, some types of LHV [Longer Heavier Vehicle] already operate in the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland, with trials also having occurred in Germany." Having never been to Sweden or Finland and not to .nl for over a decade I've not seen anything like that in the metal on this side of the Atlantic, but they seemed pretty common in British Columbia when I was there last year.

Yup, those are used in Finland. B-train is the name.

As far as i know (may not be correct or had changed) the test in germany was only for single trailers which are longer then the normal ones. (not such a setup as on your picture)...and restricted to 2-3 Bundesländer (states).

Not only is it possible, it's already been done by third-party mods. There is one even on Steam Workshop.LoaderSaints wrote:Unfortunately that kind of combination is impossible to implement into the game as fully functional due to there being only one articulation point coded.
It only needs one articulation point, as the first part is rigid.
I think we all know this mod, but that trailer is extremely unstable, it really needs that pivot.
