Balkans Development
I didn't think we would actually expand beyond the continent of Europe in this mod. Thrace is part of Europe though anything across the Bosporus is in Asia Minor not a part of Europe the other ends are at the Caucasus and Ural Mountain ranges. I'm not quite sure you will see the entire Black Sea Coast at the end of the project.
Sir I am apology but disagree with you. Turkey has lands in both; Europe and Asia continents and there is one of the biggest city, Istanbul in both sides of Bosporus. So I am guessing that cutting half a 14 millions city would seems unprofessional.Callipso wrote:I didn't think we would actually expand beyond the continent of Europe in this mod. Besides there are 4, 2 under construction, highways between Europe and Asia. Cutting them half would be like closing down half of the Berlin Ring.

If you want a perfect version of Balkan, you must do the roads damaged. Add more mild potholes..
Thats the way of our roads lol

Below is my plan for rebuilding Budapest:
The bright yellow circles represent the key areas of interest, clockwise: the historical and financial district (home to the Buda Castle, Heroes' Square, Szechenyi Chain Bridge, Matthias Church and the Parliament). There are also many big bridges, of which I marked 5.), Franz Liszt Intl' Airport (possible cargo destination) and the top of Csepel Island (the city's main industrial park).
The red lines show the M0, the main highway ring around the city.
The blue lines portray other highways leading into the city (M15, M1 and M3)
The green lines show inner city motorways, as well as motorways 102, 11, etc...
Also some more info on the city:
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube, and the 19th-century Chain Bridge connects its hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces life from Roman times onwards. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views.
Some photos as well:

This map was just an initial plan for providing ideas and a good base to work on. I am definitely open to suggestions. Please write how this plan could be developed into something realistic. Thanks!Post by realdeal350 » 04 Jul 2016 19:24
